Extra large stoneware disc pendant in a backless bezel-setting of oxidized sterling silver. Wire-wrap and circular links with turquoise, carnelian, agate, and tiny metal heishi beads. All findings and wire are oxidized sterling silver, all handmade. Clasps in front. Necklace length: 54 cm / 21 in.
The pendant is buttery-soft to the touch, and displays subtle, warm flashing from the soda firing atmosphere. The clay is a native Balinese clay from a village called Pejaten, very high in iron. Fired in the BaliCat soda kiln at Gaya CAC in Bali. Necklace length: 50 cm / 20 in OR 45 cm / 17 cm (see photos).
