Soda-fired porcelain with flashing slip pendant, bezel-set and satin polished. Simple, lightweight sterling chain, with tigereye and citrine beads; infinity clasp. All parts except the chain are handmade. All .925 sterling silver. Necklace length: 42 cm / 16.5 in.
This is just a lovely example of porcelain that got flash and soda in equal measure. It is smooth and glassy, yet displaying warm orange coloration. I love the way the texture is enhanced by this. The pendant was soda fired in Missoula, Montana.
