So much intense blue here! Pendant is a pot shard, fired in oxidation, bezel-set in oxidized sterling silver. Chain is made of lengths of wire-wrapped metal heishi beads with varying sizes of lapis lazuli and a single amazonite. All wire and findings are sterling silver. All handmade. Necklace length: 42 cm / 16.5 in.
This piece came from a pot I loved, but it formed a crack. So, I shattered it and kept several small pieces such as this one to save tiny moments of poetry as can be discovered on the ceramic surface. It was fired in Missoula, Montana.
